Remnant is a new guild formed from the remains of past experiences.  The founding members of this guild are all remnants of eachother's past, and now, we're going to make this past the present.  I know we've all been there before.  The desire to reclaim something lost in your life after reminiscing on the past is a great big motivator to some, and for me, it's having that second family that houses the sanity of all of us.  

It's my belief that social guilds completely destroy hardcore ones.  Sure, the hardcore guilds may get armor/gear quicker and have a bigger bank account, but a successful social guild will eventually be able to obtain the same status with a much, much, much more enjoyable ride.  We play games to have fun, so why not have that? xD
